BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP
Established just a few years ago, the POA Book Discussion Group meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. in the POA Library. As with most groups and classes, there is no requirement for attending every meeting, and individuals are encouraged to join in at any session.
Books are discussed by all the members, and frequently we choose one or two selections to be read and reviewed at the next meeting. By having an alternate selection, you have the added opportunity of reading something you will find enjoyable. Each month, we feature our current selection(s) in the Nugget newsletter, along with a synopsis of our recent discussion.
Many of us have read books that we would not have normally chosen and found them to be fascinating-not only acquainting us with an author new to us, but also opening up new avenues to explore. This is a friendly group that shares not only adventures in reading, but often discuss travels, restaurants and topics of general interest.
