Art Guild
Many years ago, a group of POA residents with a mutual interest in drawing and painting formed an alliance that is known as the Pines Art Guild. All levels of artistic proficiency are represented, from neophytes to accomplished artists, working at every art medium.
Members of the guild began to meet once a week in the POA library to work on their art project(s). Once the lovely Racine Center’s renovation was complete, we moved the meetings to there. Our artwork is displayed in the library, and new paintings are shown every few months.
We welcome all budding and seasoned artists to join us. We meet on the first and third Thursday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. in the POA’s Racine Center (corner of Wycliff and Racine Circle), the guild is a friendly group that will share their knowledge and critiques. There is plenty of room, camaraderie and refreshments.
