The ACC is appointed by the POA Board of Directors, and the Board has given the Committee instructions to enforce those portions of the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s) which apply for management, maintenance, preservation and appearance of the POA.
The ACC inspectors are logical thinking POA members in good standing concerned about the overall condition of the POA and interested in the general well-being of the POA population. They are not compliance officers and tend to be non-combative in nature. The only “badge” they wear is their name tag.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the ACC are to issue permits, inspect and approve lot improvements, preserve the quality and maintenance of the lots within the POA and abate (to the best of their ability) nuisance control.
The ACC Rules and Regulations is a 16 page document that clearly describes the responsibilities of an Owner with any lot(s) in the POA. This document is specific on residences, fences, refuse disposal, signs, vehicle parking/storage, antenna/dish installation, tree removal, undeveloped lot maintenance, nuisance control, noise, lighting and animal control. Other issues affecting the POA are referred to the ACC for first contact investigation.
This committee is gender non-specific. Women, men and young adults (18 years or older) are invited to become members. Our work schedule (Tuesday mornings) does restrict students and working persons; however, should a schedule allow anyone to attend, they are more than welcome. A standing invitation is made here for any interested, curious, disgruntled, angry, etc., person to attend our monthly meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month to share your concerns.
